Popping in to say hi and also request some help with my résumé. It currently stands over two pages without education and technical skills and I’m having trouble whittling it down any farther. I only trust Buffistas to do it properly Anyone got itchy edit fingers and time over the next couple of days?
Also, do I really need to keep it to one page? My professional career is now 23 years and counting and I have ten workplaces to list.
Cheerios: mmm, too much candy. Kind of hard to imagine that scenario now.
smonster, I get 2 page resumes from people all the time and I'm good with it (as are all the hiring teams I know). I shifted to using an infographic resume a few years ago in order to cram everything onto one page, and to stand out, so you might consider something like that.
I also dropped every job prior to 20 years ago.
Cool, thanks. I don’t know how to do an infographic, and it’s not relevant to what I do, but if I drop my first two jobs I will be right at two pages, I think. I was planning on having a third page with technical skills and references for the interview.
I wore Stegmann clogs all through college. The used to be sold in the LL Bean catalog. It might be nice to have some. If your feet run hot, I second the crocs flip flops.
Also, how did I lose a boot in my house? I need the boot to leave my house. I have one boot...
So you're bootless? (sorry)
LOLOL
Still have not found the boot! How did I take my boots off in two different spots? I am supposed to walk to Maria’s monks today. Luckily, much of the sidewalks are melted, so I think I can make it in shoes... Good news, I found a missing pair of glasses!
Do not put the glasses on your foot.
Found the boot! Shoved in between my bed and the wall. I am a mess!
