We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Can anyone recommend some supportive indoor shoes? My feet are telling me to be barefoot less, but all the supportive shoes I have are large and clunky. I want easy to slip on and off. Don't have to be warm, particularly, but not crocs because my feet would sweat.

meara - I use these SAS sandals for my indoor shoes. They have good arch support and I can wear them year-round with socks. I do switch to lined Crocs in the worst of winter.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I used to have some Crocs flip flops that were pretty good.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

My friend swears by these for her plantar pain.

My Birks give me the best support, followed by Halflinger clogs. I expect them both to last me forever, because they are the only two pair of expensive (to me) shoes that I own... except for ones that were gifted to me, that is. They did wonders for my knee issues. Wonders.

Oh, and a pair of New Balance with upgraded inserts, but I don't wear those inside; they're a surprisingly annoying pair to get on.

Y’all, I have to tell someone about this because I cannot believe how stupid I am sometimes. We are having an issue with one of our new items fir one of my accounts and have been throwing around ideas fir how to resolve it in email. So today somebody said we should have a meeting. I get the invite for the meeting and think vaguely “I wonder why we are waiting until next week for that?” but figure it will be fine and say I’m coming. The meeting was, of course, today and I was not there. Sigh. I don’t think they needed me, actually, but what a weird mistake to make! And now I look like a total flake. And I kind of am, so I guess that shouldn’t bother me. Sigh.

I love my Stegmann clogs for indoors. They are wool, but breathable; in the summer i switch to Chaco sandals, which have excellent arch support.

move out and draw fire

My husband swears by his slip ons with Vibram five-finger soles (not split out toe shoes).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ah, the days of "too much candy"....candy necklaces...sharing.

Yeah, that's where I went.
