I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I just cancelled, well, rescheduled, a Dr Appt. The freezing rain over night/this morning is a slick layer over the rock like substrate of yesterday’s pellet ice. It is so much worse to walk on than yesterday. No way am I attempting to drive on that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I haven't had an eye exam in three years now, and I think my prescription is basically the same, but I do want new glasses, so I guess I have to go in, but is that worth doing at this point? It just feels so optional that maybe I should wait another 6 months.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, Beverly!

Jesse, I'm putting off my eye exam until after I'm vaccinated. For whatever that's worth.

Yeah, I'm putting off eye exam and dentist until after I'm vaccinated. Nothing super critical in either realm, so...

Happy Birthday, Beverly!

I got results back from my recent physical—I'm apparently suffering from hypothyroidism and need to start taking meds for it. Which eliminates both any regret over going to the expense/trouble of an extra test and any guilt over gaining weight and being lethargic the last few months. Turns out I'm not just a lazy lard-ass after all!

I went to the dentist last summer (when cases were v low here) but put off my recent appointment until they’ve been vaccinated (the receptionist confirmed they’d all received a first shot but not yet a second, when my appointment was originally planned for, so I postponed a couple months). You could check if the eye doc was on the list for vaccination? Even if you aren’t vaccinated?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hope the meds help, Matt!

I know I had a 5-day weekend and then only worked 4 days this week but it sure feels like forever at this point. Just today feels like I have been working forever and it's not even 9am here.

Oh wow, Matt -- "good" to have a medical issue?? Good to find it, for sure, at least.

I will keep putting the eye doctor off.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Beverly!

Hey Buffistas, are any of you in/do any of you know Georgia well? Someone on Twitter DM reached out to me for money for an emergency. I do not know her well. (I'm not even sure this is someone I knew from TWoP.)

I want to try to help her get in touch with an agency or org that can provide her with emergency shelter. She is in the northeast part of the state (near SC) and does not have a car.

Edit: I got her in touch with someone local who can help.

Someone make me start doing work today. I’m in a huge bunch of “look I was gone two days and have tons of work and emails but I don’t WANNA” emotions.
