Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh wow, Matt -- "good" to have a medical issue?? Good to find it, for sure, at least.

I will keep putting the eye doctor off.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Beverly!

Hey Buffistas, are any of you in/do any of you know Georgia well? Someone on Twitter DM reached out to me for money for an emergency. I do not know her well. (I'm not even sure this is someone I knew from TWoP.)

I want to try to help her get in touch with an agency or org that can provide her with emergency shelter. She is in the northeast part of the state (near SC) and does not have a car.

Edit: I got her in touch with someone local who can help.

Someone make me start doing work today. I’m in a huge bunch of “look I was gone two days and have tons of work and emails but I don’t WANNA” emotions.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Bad news: pipe burst.

Good news: plumber will come some time today.

Our wings are not tired.

I feel more productive than usual. I ordered curbside pickup from a couple different places, then went driving around and about. Stopped at friend/neighbor's pool company to drop off a check for a repair they did, and found the whole family there because they sold the business and the new owners were meeting with them. Then I stopped by the new Tesla shop where my son is organizing stuff and dropped off a baby blanket that had his name in permanent marker on it from day care days. He was pleased. Then off to curbside Whole Foods and Wild Fork. I do love curbside pickup so much!

I bought ingredients for a bunch of stuff to make frozen meals to have available for when I don't feel like cooking. So the slow cooker and instant pot will get a workout this weekend.

DH and lawn guys planted a bunch of flowers, and now it is pouring rain, so that worked out well.

Oh no, Dana! I hope it is quickly fixable.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry for the pipe, Dana, I hope it is not too much of a pain to fix

Good luck with the plumbing, Dana.

Happy Birthday, Beverly! Your birthday twin, B., turns 19 today. It's also the first time we won't see him on his birthday, which is bittersweet.

Aw, Fiona. Is that specifically pandemic related, or is it the first time he's been out on his own on his birthday?

Dana, I hope it's a quick and easy fix. Bah.

Happy Birthday, Beverly! Your birthday twin, B., turns 19 today.

Holy cow! Is he away at college? Why does time fly so fast?!?!?!

Happy birthday, Beverly!

I have not done nearly enough work on mid-year reviews today as I needed to. Yikes.
