My upstairs neighbor has a hibachi. I have a fire pit. Coffee
will
happen.
I have all kinds of sympathy for Texans and Louisianans dealing with snow and ice. However, I will never stop mocking O'Hare Airport for completely falling apart due to less than 2 inches of snow (no ice) in November, 2019. Because it's in Chicago.
Yeah, you have to figure on snow in Chicago in the winter. I was once in Chicago on business and made a fast trip to the airport to get out ... which turned out for the best as one of the people I'd been meeting with told me they'd had a "Saskatchewan Screamer" not too long afterwards.
Stovetop Bialetti forever!
Is that like Stovetop Stuffing?
We went hiking this morning and it was lovely, if a bit icey. I fell several times--once flat on my face while standing still (classic me) and then a few times on my butt. I'm not hurt at all, though!
Lisa I am impressed by your falling skills!! Not being hurt after that is a total win
Can I say something nice about a congressman? Jason Crow (of Colorado) is a combat veteran and, on Jan. 6, he helped others get their gas masks on, comforted an obviously terrified congresswoman and was the last one out of the chamber.
Timelies all!
Yay meara!
We're supposed to get snow/wintry mix starting early tomorrow morning and going all through the day. Sigh...
Y'all, I was reading a murder mystery and I accidentally spoiled myself for whodunnit by searching for something in the text but then I got the killer's name confused with another character's and spent most of the book thinking I knew the wrong person did it. Now I feel like I should re-read it, because my emotional reactions were just all wrong throughout.
