Last night we watched the new animated show by various Bob's Burgers creators, with voice work by Nick Offerman titled The Great North. Basically like Bob's Burgers set in Alaska.
And it was great! Really enjoyed the first two episodes which were funny and sweet.
Thanks David.
I also came across a video (can't link to it, sorry), but seemingly you take a bunch of cherry tomatoes, add olive oil, salt and pepper and then plunk a block of feta cheese down in the middle. Bake it, when the cheese is all melted and the tomatoes baked, smoosh them together with fresh basil and finely chopped garlic, add some cooked pasta, mix it all up and then enjoy.
Whoa, so my ICD (implanted heart shocker thing) went off for the first time that I ever noticed this morning. So freaky. I mean, it did what it was supposed to do, so, yay, but... I was just sitting at my computer, and I suddenly had a slow heartbeat, and then my brain just went totally scrambly for a few seconds. My first coherent thought was, "Did I just have a seizure?!?!" But then I realized what it was. Felt things settle, so I relaxed. But weird. Anyway, I have a follow-up appt. in March, and you don't need call the doc unless it happens more than once in 24 hours, so, considering this is the first time since implantation, I'm good. Bizarre, though.
In better news, heading for a cabin in the woods in a couple of hours. Yay.

The recipe that swept Instagram for a week! It's supposed to be tasty.
ION, after a year of being absolutely sedentary, Matilda informed us that the only thing that was keeping her from getting exercise was that she didn't have proper workout clothes or running shoes.
We were dubious but JZ took her to Ross and they came back with two sets of workout clothes and new sneaks.
Voila! She had me get her up early (also unheard of) and she went running before school this morning. She ran for half an hour going around our (large) City block (which goes steeply uphill as well), and came back with an iced coffee before Zoom class.
Bonus: She ran into her friend Iris who was herself headed to the track before class.

Yikes! I guess it worked as planned though?

Does the device allow the doctor to extract the event history?
Wow, JenP that sounds pretty wild! Probably good you know what it feels like now (and better it happen for the first time now than while you are, say, out in the woods), and I'm glad it's working like it's supposed to. I guess I had it in my head that you wouldn't really feel anything when those things do their stuff, but that is pretty obviously based on nothing at all.
Ooh, does your heart now have Bluetooth?

That was my first thought too. Good to know what to expect if it happens again. Enjoy the cabin.
We're also headed to a cabin in the woods today!
