I have a follow-up appt. in March
Does the device allow the doctor to extract the event history?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Wow, JenP that sounds pretty wild! Probably good you know what it feels like now (and better it happen for the first time now than while you are, say, out in the woods), and I'm glad it's working like it's supposed to. I guess I had it in my head that you wouldn't really feel anything when those things do their stuff, but that is pretty obviously based on nothing at all.
Ooh, does your heart now have Bluetooth?

That was my first thought too. Good to know what to expect if it happens again. Enjoy the cabin.
We're also headed to a cabin in the woods today!
Yikes JenP but yay for it working?
Go Matilda!!
My doggo is at doggy daycare for the first time today! Hoping he gets exhausted.
JenP, glad it's working.
I came across an article about the Mars landing, with an animation. Nifty.
Also, was someone asking about nail polish? Orly is making a line of "breathable" polishes which might be less stinky than the usual ones.
Woah, Jen, that sounds wild! Glad your heart is doing it's thing!
I have the ingredients for that TikTok feta thing in my fridge right now, but I over-planned my meals and then also went to Trader Joe's, so I might not get there for a couple more days.
Thanks, guys. Yes, yay for working, and yes to probably good to know what it's like.

Ha, ha! Yes. I wonder if I can connect my headphones... never thought of that!
lisah, where are you going? We're Shenandoah Valley bound. I will never be able to spell that name without spell check, apparently.

I think... and this is really more of a guess than it should be... that it may do small corrections that I just don't notice. It's not a pacemaker, so it only kicks in when needed (or maybe those do, too? I don't know). Apparently, I was very needy this morning. There are a bunch of questions I should have asked the heart doc a while ago, but this thing was, like, bottom of the list through the hospital year. Weirdly just sort of a blip compared to the rest, which is weird, because, heart, but there you go.
For once, I'm the one who is ready to go way ahead of time. I even dashed out to get my monthly blood work done in case my electrolytes are doing the wacky. DP has just announced he's nearing ready... so that's good. To be fair, he did do a couple of work calls this morning.
My mother had a pacemaker and I think it occasionally gave her a ... well, less than a shock, but something. I had heard that you can't use magnetic necklace clasps if you have a pacemaker - the magnets, if they slip around, can do something to it. So one xmas, when my sister gave her a set as replacements (since the arthritis in her hands had gotten bad), I made a fuss about it. I might be mistaken, but I'd rather be wrong than take a chance.
