Oh no Gris, I'm so sorry.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Gris, that's dreadful. I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Gris. What an awful, sudden shock. Hugs to all your family.
Thank you all. It still feels weird. Heart attack. He got his second vaccine shot just 2 days ago. Unlikely that it was related - he was 70 and not in the best health - but it hasn't totally been ruled out that the vaccine side effects may have been a factor, especially as he had not been feeling great since receiving it.
I hope it IS ruled out, and confidently so. He was a huge proponent of vaccination in a very conservative town, and if somehow his death became ammunition for anti-vaccination people, he would be horrified.
Best wishes on both fronts, Gris.
Oh dear, Gris. I do hope that it is ruled out, but the anti-vaxers will still point to that. I do know many who were quite sick after the second dose, but all said they would do it again. Wishes for comfort for you and yours.
Gris, I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry, Gris. And I hope that your uncle's death isn't weaponized by ignorant anti-vaxxers.
I'm sorry for your loss, Gris. And UGH that anyone could/would try to "make something out of it."
Two funny recent twitter things: A coworker just posted a tweet from Emily Nussbaum, who I still think of as "ours." And re: Joss, someone replied to a Linda Holmes tweet telling her what the Bronze (board) was. I'm pretty sure Miss Alli knew what the Bronze was!!
Filed my tax returns - getting Federal and State refunds which is nice. I think I may have made a mistake with my capital loss carryover but I am not going to worry about it today.
