No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Any suggestions?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh, would that I could ... sometimes I think using a cut reed on a clay tablet would be an improvement

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Congratulations, Consuela! Branch chief sounds important. Also on getting the first shot, I’m pleased to see more and more people getting theirs

I look more rad than Lutheranism

sometimes I think using a cut reed on a clay tablet would be an improvement

I do not want to edit that way, though!

Once you got used to it I’m sure you’d love it, Tep. Aside from the authors sending back the tablets with all your edits wiped out.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Suela, both of those pieces of news are excellent!

But, Steph, if they were being stupid in a way you were forced to notice, wouldn't corrections be satisfying? "Nope!" *smash* *tosses the pieces into a box*

bah! I'm going to advise my boss to find someone who's better at Word than I am ... or track down and strangle ask whoever did this to fix it.

And, if anyone's interested, they're showing new episodes of Riverdale. The kids graduated and, last night, seven (!) years afterwards got together.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hi Allyson!

Congrats Consuela!

There are so many friends I've made and experiences I've had because of Buffy, and I think it's worth separating that out if you can.

shrift is wise. I probably owe half the friends I have today to Buffy fandom, and I'm not going to feel guilty about that just because Joss turned out to be an abusive piece of crap. Or even enjoying his work—a lot of other writers, directors, actors, and crew members other than him pooled their own impressive talents together to make his shows and movies so good.
