I am trying to get through the extra tasks that got dumped on me this morning so I can get to my regularly scheduled tasks I was kind of looking forward to being able to finish today. Grumble.

I found out some good news, my Mom has an appointment for her first shot of the Pfizer vaccine on Wednesday. It'll be such a relief for her to at least have partial protection.

flea, the CVS? That's my pharmacy, and the techs always wear their mask correctly, but the pharmacist drives me nuts.
I emailed CVS corporate about the people at the CVS in Anderson Towne Center not wearing their masks, and it seemed to improve after that.

Yay for vaccinated people, and people who wear masks correctly. We are once again mortified on national news with Florida Man. My county is much saner than where Naples is located.
My vaccine stab is this afternoon! Since I have had only one vaccine in the last 50 years (shingles), my doctor said DH should drive me in case I react badly. That is fine since we need to go and do some system work at said doctor's office after hours anyway and my stabbination is at 4.
eta: by react badly he probably means that I faint or snarl at the nurse

I am feeling cranky and ancient this morning. Mostly because I had a headache last night but I thought it wasn’t all that painful so maybe if I just took some Tylenol and went to bed early it would be ok. But no, woke up and took migraine meds at 430am so now I am feeling hungover from that. And have accomplished no work this morning. Ugh. But at least it’s Thursday?

DH drove up to town to drop off the application fee for preschool. I'm frustrated because I called and emailed months ago, but never heard back, then met parents at the playground yesterday who were like "you have to fill out the application and drop off a check" The application still has dates from this school year! I hope kiddo can get a slot. Sigh.
I get my first shot on Saturday, organized through the school system for priority people (which I am, since I work directly with a few kids in a couple different bubbles, and, well, I wanted one. A lot of people either don't or are bad a signing up for things.) I have an appointment for a few weeks from now at the hospital, but once I actually have that sweet, sweet RNA in my system, I'll email and cancel that. But I continue to not trust the system enough to cancel a minute sooner.
We're trying to sell DH's old car (since we got Murray the Minivan), and the guy who test drove it was all chinstrap dude, but yelling at someone who you want to give you currency in exchange for goods is a bad idea, so...we'll see if he can get the money together. This was one of those "this really shouldn't be my job, but if I wait for DH to get it done, it'll have been a year" things.
