I woke up with one very painful ear, so I am off to the Little Clinic. I always feel like a little kid when I get an ear infection, even though I'm well aware that grown-ass adults get ear infections too. That is a very small area to hurt so much. Do not want.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It does look like we'll be able to do some livestreaming.
This is good news. I just could not figure out a way to make the trip feasible for me.
OK, so I'm listening to a podcast where they are talking a LOT about jillifonts and they are in Seattle and it really explains everything and I would also have a phobia if I were from Seattle, it sounds like.
I have an ear infection, but I have no antibiotics. The Little Clinic doctor prescribed them, but CVS has nothing. And now the Little Clinic is closed, so I can't follow up until tomorrow morning.
I'm pretty sure you can't trust antibiotics you buy on the streets from a dude in a van, so I guess I'm in antibiotic limbo for the time being.
ND, you are such a good person doing this for Sunny and his people, and maybe a bit crazy. But love you for it anyway.
Sunny deserves this. I also miss Bill, and a few more days with Sunny lets me remember him. Its bittersweet but I'm truly glad to be able to do this.
Jesse we do have more of them probably than I did in DC but honestly there’s fewer of other kinds of bugs so I’m ok with that trade off?
Timelies all!
Another crazy week with Mr. S. More meltdowns at school, and he refused to go with the nanny after school. Gary had taken the week off, so he could pick Mr. S up, but he was not happy about it.(He had things to do that didn't get done because of it)
This weekend was Malice Domestic, which I commuted as usual. Because it's Passover I had to bring my lunch every day. Otherwise, a nice convention.
Sunny is in the care of his new human. I’m waiting for my flight home.
Rough weekend again, but I did manage to get some things done. Weather scuttled the trip we had planned, but it wasn't raining long enough for me to do the work I needed to do on my wife's car. New brake pads and an oil change. I made a video of how to change the brake pads for my kids to sort of pass down some knowledge. Not really polished content, but if for some reason you want to see how to change brake pads, it's here [link]
The new window frames held up to the storms, and we didn't get water in the sleeping porch, so that's a win. Still feeling pretty down overall though.
Love hearing about Shir's trip. That sounds like a lot of fun.
