Oh yes, I'm gonna be up for many, many, many, too many hours.
And thanks!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I'm so glad you are making this trip, Shir. And quite looking forward to hugging you when you make it to SF.
I get to see Shir in TWO DAYS!!
Shir!! I am so excited for you, and us!
I'm so glad you're going to make it, Shir! Safe travels!
Does anybody have a site they recommend to get a realistic idea of what a used car is worth? I'm finally willing to entertain the idea of selling my old Ranger. I still get random strangers approaching me to ask about it occasionally, so I'm trying to get a realistic picture of its worth. But I've now gotten a range of nearly $2500 (Kelley Blue Book) through $1000 (Carmax) down to $400 (!!!) (Carvana). Anybody know who actually has the skinny?
How about www.edmunds.com ?
The last time I was playing around there, IIRC it gave me a price for "private sale" and a price for "trade-in."
eta: FWIW, I just tried my car details at edmunds.com and their private sale number was pretty close to the offer they relayed from Carmax.
David, I would book a hair appointment but I don’t have anyone!
Marjory at Babalousie in Ballard is the bomb.
I am in a bit of denial about the fact that I have a 6am flight to Miami tomorrow morning, and then I'm driving from there to St. Louis by Sunday. I'm happy to do it, and it's the right thing to do for Bill's dog Sunny, but it was not at all what I thought this weekend would look like.
Wish me easy flights on both ends, and a clear highway in between.
Safe and easy travels, ND!
Thanks, dcp, I'll give them a look.
Happy travels, Shir!
selling my old Ranger
What year? I’m not in the market or anything. It’s just that I learned to drive stick in my dad’s 1983 Ranger. That thing lasted into the 2000s, and it was still running when Dad sold it for a few hundred bucks to be someone’s farm truck.
