And the sleeping porch looks very nice.
It's neat, but it needs a lot of work. I need to lay down some 3/4" plywood to give it a better floor, but something on top of that and paint everything.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

A little ways upstream, Sheryl apologized for not posting for a week. I think I'm doing well if I post twice in a week! I try, but the conversation keeps moving on before I get there (stoopid time zones!) Anyway, love you guys, here's a nearly content-free post.
whichever of the Three Stooges has the bowl cut
That would be Moe, to whom you bear zero resemblance, no matter what your hair is doing. But yes, give yourself permission to splurge a bit! It beats paying someone any amount at all for a cut you don't like!
I think I need to give up on crescent moon and star post earrings. I have *always* loved them (moons and stars in general, not just on earrings), but I am So Sick of having to replace them. The little points catch on everything! My hair, clothes, just now in the shower on my loofah! I like having cute little post earrings in my back holes, then I just change the front holes day-to-day, but I think I'm going to have to find a different theme, can't keep replacing falling/flying moons.
On my work laptop and I can't see Gud's sleeping porch, sadface. If you're taking out the screens, won't that be awfully stuffy? Or are the new windows in addition to the screens?
Signed, So-Cal Native Has No Clue About Sleeping Porches
And no, I won't count that as posting twice (or thrice!) in one week.
I do like a sleeping porch! I actually regularly slept in one one summer and it was super nice. Porches in general are pretty sweet. Is it the upstairs bit with all the windows, Gud? Nice view?
Is it the upstairs bit with all the windows, Gud? Nice view?Yep. The view is pretty nice. Our dog Jarah really likes since it gives her a commanding view over her domain. Yeah, it will be stuffy without the screens, but preventing water damage is the priority right now. Kinda hoping to make new screens too.
I guess, Hec, I'd go with "I'm sorry...me too." Is there something specific she remembered today?(Not that it doesn't make sense...kind of always--I don't mean to say that. but some things would make me think of my mother more than others.) Or, it's not quite the same but when J. left us I didn't watch the Simpsons for about five years. Because it was sort of our thing, and it made me sad. Now, I watch it sometimes, esp the old ones we used to like...it's still a bit sad, but in a blues way that, well, doesn't *feel good* exactly but almost.
What a lovely house, Gud! I’m sure the sleeping porch will be great when you’re finished.
My hairstylist is a little fancier than I am. I always feel like I’m disappointing her when I go in with “same, but shorter.”
Mac is delivering packages for Amazon via a contractor company. Amazon drivers are all third party contractors it seems.
His first day out doing deliveries yesterday was an 11 hour day and he was BEAT.
It only 30 hours a week. I’m unclear if any of the drivers are 40 hours or not.

That sounds really tiring.
