Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

On my work laptop and I can't see Gud's sleeping porch, sadface. If you're taking out the screens, won't that be awfully stuffy? Or are the new windows in addition to the screens?

And no, I won't count that as posting twice (or thrice!) in one week.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do like a sleeping porch! I actually regularly slept in one one summer and it was super nice. Porches in general are pretty sweet. Is it the upstairs bit with all the windows, Gud? Nice view?

Yep. The view is pretty nice. Our dog Jarah really likes since it gives her a commanding view over her domain. Yeah, it will be stuffy without the screens, but preventing water damage is the priority right now. Kinda hoping to make new screens too.

Always Anti-fascist!

I guess, Hec, I'd go with "I'm sorry...me too." Is there something specific she remembered today?(Not that it doesn't make sense...kind of always--I don't mean to say that. but some things would make me think of my mother more than others.) Or, it's not quite the same but when J. left us I didn't watch the Simpsons for about five years. Because it was sort of our thing, and it made me sad. Now, I watch it sometimes, esp the old ones we used to like...it's still a bit sad, but in a blues way that, well, doesn't *feel good* exactly but almost.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

What a lovely house, Gud! I’m sure the sleeping porch will be great when you’re finished.

My hairstylist is a little fancier than I am. I always feel like I’m disappointing her when I go in with “same, but shorter.”

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac is delivering packages for Amazon via a contractor company. Amazon drivers are all third party contractors it seems.

His first day out doing deliveries yesterday was an 11 hour day and he was BEAT.

It only 30 hours a week. I’m unclear if any of the drivers are 40 hours or not.

That sounds really tiring.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Guess who has two thumbs and the an OOO message?

And now, packing. I have so many last minute errands to run - I'll probably reply to some emails that some of you sent earlier this week from the airport. Sorry, work is still at 110% for some reason.
