Thanks, Steph. After not being able to get the car started the whole time I waited for AAA, the gentleman they sent got it started right away. But my mechanic is going to run it on the machine and check for codes tomorrow. He did mention that it could be something as simple as a spark plug.

Hey, has anyone been in touch with Allyson in the past few weeks? I know she's been going through a rough patch, but I haven't seen her post here.
Exciting news: we can also request the house dog for the event and they'll put him in a wee tuxedo.
Whaaaaa?!?? !!!

She posts frequently in fb, Karl, including in the last couple of days.
Thanks, lisah. I'm glad to know she's got some support around her.
Teppy, that outfit is gorgeous and the wedding sounds delightful!
I'm also loving the idea of a house dog in a wee tuxedo.

He's a sleek black chihuahua mix and extremely genial.
David, the venue looks lovely and I know JZ would have adored the house dog. I wish we could be there.
The mechanic can’t find anything wrong with the car but I’m overdue on engine maintenance. So they’re going to do that and check all the spark plugs. Meanwhile my diamond shoes are too tight and I miss all the extras that TCG’s car doesn’t have, but I’m incredibly grateful we have two hand control vehicles these days so I can at least drive his car.
Epic so sorry for the news. Fingers crossed for the best results quickly.
Dcp gives good advice. (((Dcp)))
I would like a support dog at work, with or without tuxedo.
A good while ago, I saw pictures from a wedding. The bride's brother had promised/threatened to bring a llama to her wedding. He did. And, since it was a formal wedding, he was wearing a tuxedo. There was also a handler, to make sure he behaved himself.
And, in photo news: Monday was supposed to be The Rapture. Someone with an active sense of humor bought a bunch of inflatable sex dolls, inflated them with helium, went to a church parking lot and released them. Proof (scroll down a little)
Good vibes to Epic and dcp.
We found out last night that Mom's cancer is also showing signs of coming back. This time her doctor thinks he can perform the removal at his office rather than requiring an OR and general anesthesia, so at least it seems to return smaller and weaker each time? Not ideal, but I guess we may have to think of it as a regular management issue rather than something that can just be fixed full stop.
