So scary.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Jesus christ.
My condolences, shrift and lisah.
That bridge collapse is horrifying.
Yes, I’m on the other side of town from that bridge and rarely use it. How horrifying it is!!
Oh my gosh, reading the news about the bridge, that is so scary, especially the video! Good thing it happened in the middle of the night or it would’ve been so much worse, but still. Yikes.
It sounds like it could have been worse? NPR says the ship sent out a mayday, so officials were able to slow down/stop traffic. Obviously, it's still terrible.
The captain must have been frantic knowing he was going to crash. I can't imagine.
I just heard both that authorities don’t believe there are any cars in the water and sonar is indicating there are cars in the water
Just came over to check on Baltimore contingent. Happy to see that all are well.
One of the things that came out with my conversation with Lola yesterday, is that Isabella's father (Simon) has decided he's not going to pay for half of her school expenses.
Isabella is a talented artist who just got into Parsons and RISD.
Simon's reasoning is that he "wants her to stand on her own two feet."
He's a high paid tech exec with a house in Marin. (Lola and Simon divorced years ago and they both remarried.)
In short, Simon is a completely fuckhole and failure as a father and human being.
When Lola dies where is there going to be any money to pay for Isabella's education?
If Isabella takes a gap year, is she really going to want to stay with Simon for a year when he's so unsupportive? Ugh. It's so messy.
