Punishingly Intricate

So relieved to hear , Pix!

We get those little tiny ants every year. Sometimes upstairs, sometimes down. Always gross.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, the ants usually start showing up when things get warmer. I haven't seen them yet this year, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. They really really don't like mint so one of the things I usually do is make up a cleaning solution with some mint and vinegar and spray the areas they're likely to come in.

Yay, Pix! I'm glad that he figured it out, and I hope his moving out has gone smoothly.

I've been trying to get up earlier so that I'm less stressed at drop off time. I've been up earlier two days in a row and I'm still stressed and bickering with ltc at drop off time.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

We get ants every spring -- the whole neighborhood does (I assume, because the hardware store will put a sign in their window in March/April saying "We have ant traps!"). Terro ant traps work really well.

Yeah usually if I put out Terro traps they disappear pretty quickly but it doesn’t seem to be working this time. May need more traps I guess.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I saw my first ant of the season yesterday, which means it's time to deep clean the kitchen again and buy the annual spring ant traps.

Pix, OMG, what a relief! Fingers crossed he's sober enough to follow through on the move-out plans today!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yay Pix! Glad that situation seems to be improving—you do not need extra stress at the moment!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Place I lived years ago used to get WINGED ants - first time they saw them, assumed they were termites, which led to all kinds of worries. Once they were identified, things calmed down.

Our wings are not tired.

I get the winged variety of ants in NY and they are an added level of horror.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

One of my salespeople just used HSQ in an email. It did not mean what I thought it meant.
