I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I am now getting emails inviting me to "WTFNB" events, which I am unable to see as anything other than What The Fuck, Non-Binary.
I just read this and audibly snorted. That's AMAZING.

BOO ANTS.

I've agreed to let them shoot my hip with cortisone on Thursday morning. I am such a freak when it comes to shots that I am seriously anxious, but the other attempts at painkillers just don't work and give me side effects. PT is going well, but it would be a real bonus if the hip didn't hurt all the time.

I got a cortisone shot in my hip, and it wasn't that painful at all, and it really helped. Hoping you have a similar outcome!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Whew, Pix, what a relief!

meara, I'm weirdly relieved it's not just us with an ant problem all of a sudden. (Wait...are the ants taking over Seattle?)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That’s good, Pix. I’m glad you’ll be able to get that resolved.

Boo ants indeed.

I hope the shot helps, Laura. My sister got one in her knee, and she’s been able to put off surgery for over a year. They can be pretty miraculous.

Our wings are not tired.

As anxious as I am about getting the shot, I can't take painkillers and the notion of taking them indefinitely didn't sound like a great plan either.

Boo Ants, indeed.

Punishingly Intricate

So relieved to hear , Pix!

We get those little tiny ants every year. Sometimes upstairs, sometimes down. Always gross.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, the ants usually start showing up when things get warmer. I haven't seen them yet this year, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. They really really don't like mint so one of the things I usually do is make up a cleaning solution with some mint and vinegar and spray the areas they're likely to come in.

Yay, Pix! I'm glad that he figured it out, and I hope his moving out has gone smoothly.

I've been trying to get up earlier so that I'm less stressed at drop off time. I've been up earlier two days in a row and I'm still stressed and bickering with ltc at drop off time.
