there is a vase with three red roses on the kitchen table
My first thought was the trigger from Dollhouse until I remembered it's Feb 14.
It’s so clearly edging to harassment but then is also not overt enough to check any clear boxes. Never asked them out, never used innuendo.
I worked with a designer like that. The most egregious moment was him asking me to keep stepping closer so he could look at the design on my shirt. After a couple steps I told him to look at the shirts in the gift shop. A couple of my crew were there and they found it as uncomfortable as I did.
Hooray, Susan!
Recovery~ma for shrift's dad and Beverly's DH. I hope the tire repair goes smoothly.
We are back in the house.
Hooray, Sheryl! My brother has been going through the same thing. They've been out of their house since August and probably have another month to go.
I texted my brother late this afternoon to check if he had gone to the parade in KC. He had no idea anything had happened because he had spent the entire day scraping popcorn off the ceiling in the house. I know my parents were planning to watch the parade on tv. I'm still perusing FB for various friend check-ins. The one who was posting videos from the parade is safe.
About to head out to my second Ash Wednesday service of the day, since apparently I suck at putting things on my calendar and therefore didn't remember I was doing the readings at the 7 PM service until I saw my name in the back of the bulletin halfway through the noon one. Oops!
I suspect the getting things from my inbox onto my calendar challenge is yet another women of a certain age with ADHD thing...
Still, it's nice to be sleeping in my own bed again.
Awesome! Sweet peaceful dreams.
Sheesh, Bev! That sounds stressful as hell all the way around.
I'm glad you're home safe, and hope DH gets quick relief.
Well that sounds like a crappy day, Beverly. I hope today goes better.
Congrats on getting back into your home, Sheryl!
I’m starting my day with coffee to hand and a purring cat on my lap, which is a nice beginning.
Bev! No good, I'm glad you're safe and sound and have kind neighbors... with cars. Good health/recovery vibes to DH. And, or, stone remnant passing vibes if there's still an issue with that.
Sheryl, such good news.
Today holds the promise of a being solid, productive work day. I need that today and tomorrow.
((((BEVDOG))))
There really are times I just curse the ether that we do not have teleportation.
Oh Bev, that's a lot. Healing vibes to B., and big hugs and love for you.
Big thoughts and hugs to B, Bev.

Hear me out....Maybe that could be the WHOLE day.
Matilda was rushing around this morning getting ready for school and then said something that I feel is oddly iconic for her generational cohort: "Alison is stopping by on her way to school to trim her false eyelashes because they're too long."
Today's question: Is David going to rouse himself to go running this morning (grey and dreary day, rain coming)? Stay tuned.
Hmm. Is anybody ever really "tuned" anymore? I do remember spending a fair amount of my childhood carefully turning the radio knob in nanometer increments to tune into distant radio stations.
That was before-times. Analog life.
