Mozzie: The rare and exotic Huskihuahua!
Goodbye, sweet boy. You were well loved in this world.
Friends, it's a perfect home for him. And I'll still get to visit him.
This is such good news, for Sunny and his new family.
I remember the exact moment my Dad told me I couldn't cuddle with him anymore before bedtime. I was like...6? And it felt shitty.
I'm grateful that both the boys were snugglers. Even at 32 B will curl up next to me and hugs all the time. Not on my lap because that would be tough. He hugs his dad all the time too.
You ask *amazing* questions. They are quality and insightful. Next big unknown, I am asking what your questions are. Because they are insightful and quality. Like I said.
Truth! They weren't questions I needed at this time, but I was very impressed.
I woke up with a burst blood vessel in my right eye
That is always such a surprise! May it resolve soon.
Something about men and pain being taken more seriously is sticking in my craw.
Don't you know, we were built to birth the babies, so clearly pain is okay for us.
I'm sorry, Brenda. Good on the stubborn Mozzie for the 10 months extra. So hard.
Indeed. Even with the prep time, it is so hard. {{brenda}}
And I am off for my hip MRI. Wish me something easily fixable.
The conclusion the ER staff came to yesterday was: a migraine. (Fucksake, man.) It would explain the vertigo for sure, because I do sometimes get vertigo with a migraine. I didn't have typical migraine stabby pain in my eye and cheekbone yesterday, but the doctor said that some migraines present without typical pain, and that migraines can cause a spike in blood pressure. I even had a CT scan of my head (which seemed like overkill), and the results were normal (I resisted making an Abby Normal joke). I also had labs done, and everything was also normal, so at least I found out I'm not anemic or diabetic. They gave me IV meds for the migraine and sent me home around 6 pm, where Tim grilled me a cheese and I went right to bed and slept for about 12 hours. Everything seems normal today, including my BP (yesterday it was averaging 155/110, and today it's 120/68).
As for the burst blood vessel in my eye, it could be related to the BP spike, but it also could have happened from sneezing really hard, or it could have just happened for no real reason, because the human body is fucked up and mystifying. Now I have work to catch up on, dang it.
Bodies! Clearly a few more days of design should have been allocated.
Already had over 2000 steps. First 2 locations they said wrong place. After walking the entire length of parking lots. 3rd long parking lot is actual location. Already in waiting room an hour. Should have brought ear buds for my book.
Fucking migraines.
Fucking migraines.
You ain't never lied.
Larry David was never more wise when he said "If your body was a car, you wouldn't buy it. Too much maintenance."
Oofdah! Got a grumpy letter from the IRS saying, in essence, "Pay up NOW!"
And this was something I was expecting to pay, but they said I had ignored previous notices and I did not ignore any other notices. In fact, I've been tapping my foot waiting for this to come in.
So now I'm scrambling to have money wired from my financial services to my checking account so I can make a payment bigger than I've ever done, excepting the down payment on this house.
You know what's a little stress inducing? Words like "seize your property" on official IRS letters.
No kidding!
