Dad is more alert, and if we can keep doing the syringe feeding (which no one thought to try until now...don't get me started), he may qualify for nursing care and rehab. I don't know how far back he can come to where he was, but this is the first morning I've felt like there's a chance in a long time.

I’m so glad it’s Friday. My brain and body CANNOT get it together.
Brain is being squirrely, I’m having anxiety dreams at night and am unable to settle. Unsure why.
Body is hot/cold hot/cold also nose is runny and woke up with a soreish throat ( I suspect mouth breathing in my sleep). COVID test this morning negative and I’m not achy or coughing or having any issue breathing or fever.
