I have dentist at 1p -- dentist buddies, yay? Yeah, not so much.

Five whole days of work ahead, what?

I think I have pleurisy, which sounds so old fashioned but really is just inflamed tissue around the ol' lungs, which, I probably ended up with bronchitis even though I never went to the doc, so... that would track. I finally caved and sent a note to the doc, because it is uncomfortable to the point that I didn't get much sleep last night, and I can't take NSAIDs, and Tylenol is like fake medicine to me. She's probably going to make me go in. Fair enough.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I think I have pleurisy

Pleurisy sucks, man. If you can't take NSAIDs, I see steroids in your future.

Ah, steroids. That makes sense. Blergh.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks for the updates, ND. Holding you both close in my heart.

Pleurisy, boo, JenP. I hope they find something that helps and quickly.

I have 3-day weekends now, but that’s because we are working 4 10-hr days. This weekend I was pretty much out of commission due to pain and fatigue for Friday and Saturday. I did manage to get some stuff done yesterday, but I’m not keeping up with life, let alone catching up on all the stuff I am behind on.

And really, I need to probably find more hours somewhere to bring more money in, but I don’t know how that’s going to work if I spend two days recovering. Last week wasn’t even a full week because of NYD.

Twas ever thus. May it not always be so.

Pleurisy sucks.

I was very happy at 730am when I begrudgingly went to log into work and found out the meeting I was logging in for was canceled. Sadly I still had meetings from 8am until now and do not want to do any more work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jen, I feel like the dentist AND pleurisy is one thing too many.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Pleurisy sounds very un-fun, except of course for the Glass Menagerie "blue roses" reference. Probably much less entertaining if you're the one who has to actually experience it.

Pix & ND, still sending thoughts and prayers (hate that that now sounds like a snark rather than an actual hope and wish for strength & peace & better times ahead).

-t, that sounds like a crappy celebration. I hope the cocktails at least were good.

It's been too long since I've posted for a full meara, but I have been reading along and sending best wishes all this time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Five whole days of work ahead, what?

Right? I am not used to this. Next week is 4 again and then I'm ruined for the rest of the year.

Jen, I feel like the dentist AND pleurisy is one thing too many.

Agreed!

I hope the cocktails at least were good.

Honestly, not really. Me and my coworker who also tried them thought they could use a dash of Sprite or something. Pretty, though.

Had two meetings this morning and thought I was done but there's another one in 5 minutes. Whee!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.
