My parents were terrible about sorting through their things but pretty good about agreeing to move when they needed (their old place was all one level, so not a problem, but none of us lived near them anymore).

This is ridiculous, but I think I have been thinking about how to assemble a sort of kerfuffley basket of treats (muffaletta-esque sandwich(es), gimlet ingredients, bagels, maybe something else if it occurs to me (guacamole, I suppose, is kind of called for) so I'm gonna call dibs on bringing that to the informal F2F

Some folks have mentioned their intent to fly in for her memorial, it seems like Saturday (May 18th) would be the optimal date to accommodate travelers. Maybe people coming in on Thurs or Fri for an informal Buffista F2F kinda thing.

Mr. S has been having tantrums at night several nights recently. I don’t know what is triggering them, but I’m tired of it all.

The biggest wedding I’ve ever been to, the bride was from a Lebanese Catholic family in Toledo. There were so many cousins, but her father said it was such a small wedding compared to his generation, when 700 people was normal (she had about 300.)
