Dana I always think that on days after I’ve had a mild migraine—where on the day in like “this isn’t sooooo bad maybe I need to just slog through it? Do I really want to take a pill? What if that means I use too many?” And then the next day I’m like “oh right! This is what not having a headache feels like! That WAS bad!” (There are def times when there’s no question and I’m absolutely like “fuck this, pills and bed now” but not always)

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

I can attest to the unexpected amount of happiness brought by decorative lights. I just put up a string of flickering solar lanterns in my Japanese maple, and am pleasantly surprised by how cute it looks. The charge only lasted a couple hours after sunset, but I'd rather have brighter, nicer-looking lights for a short time than longer-lasting unimpressive ones.
