Our wings are not tired.

No controversy for me. I loves oatmeal raisin cookies. Yum!

Amy, one of our friends went to Temple for medical school. It was quite the adjustment after living in a posh suburban Boca Raton area. He lived. And stayed in Philly where he now has his medical practice. It is a super sketch area for sure, as is much of Philly honestly. I think it is the only place I have lived where I was uncomfortable, this was back in the early 70s when the police force was the greatest danger. Shuddering at the memory.

Word formatting being screwed is something that I have never had much success in fixing. I bow to the experts on that stuff.

Actually, I think I'm good with sweet raisin use, but I don't like savory with raisins.

I must just like raisins because I like them in various Indian savory type dishes too. Bit of spicy pepper, bit of sweet raisin, happy taste buds.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Raisins are liars who pretend to be chocolate chips and then laugh at your disappointment.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Dana, it seems to have worked ... not quite the way I expected, but it seems to have worked (I kind of poked at the header and footer information and - surprise! - the logo moved to the right page.

I don't mind raisins in oatmeal cookies, but they aren't my favorite. I used to make them for my sister and substituted butterscotch chips, since she really disliked raisins. I'm not fond of them in savory dishes, but I used to get empanadas from a local place that would include them and didn't mind them.

I haven't tried to get a vaccine (which has been dubbed the Fauci Ouchie), although I'm 68 with underlying health conditions. Right now, the city is trying to focus on people in areas that haven't received a lot of vaccinations; I moved from one of those to one that is receiving vaccinations. I plan to wait a bit and make sure I can get both doses ... I'm not sure if not receiving the second one in the specified time would make the first dose ineffective, but I'd prefer to wait.

And I feel so sorry for parents, students and teachers. I'm not any of those, but I keep hearing reports of how they're all stressed out, scared ... and, with so many places pushing to reopen the schools ASAP, so many are scared.

I like raisins in things, but only if I know they’re raisins to start. Not if I think they’re chocolate and then am disappointed.

I know a number of therapists who are working remotely who’ve gotten vaccinated. Some of them were like “should I???” And one said her boss encouraged them to. At this point I don’t much care who is getting it, just get it to people already!! There was some thing about mass vaccination centers being set up here by the state and they were aiming to do 500 vaccinations a day. I was like are you kidding? That’s barely “mass” at all!

Puppy was up all night long. Tried taking him out a few times, no dice. He wanted food at 3am. Now he’s sleeping. Got overnight delivery of a donut neck pillow cone which he seems ok with. I’m exhausted but awake. Getting sedative from the vet later. The woman I got him from brought me some last night (so kind!) but it didn’t seem to help a ton.

I was 17 when I arrived at college and turned 18 soon after, but it def would’ve been NBD if I had waited a year (I wanted OUT of the house but in my life a gap year would’ve just meant working for a year and living at home, so no). The biggest suck was those even younger than me, who didn’t turn 21 until even later

"I yam what I yam and that's all what I yam," -- Popeye

Y'all can have my share of all the oatmeal, AND all the raisins.

No vaccinations for me until I am done with chemo and my immune system has had some time to recover. Probably not until early April, at best.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I like raisins in things, but only if I know they’re raisins to start. Not if I think they’re chocolate and then am disappointed.

Yes, this. Oatmeal raisin is a delicious and valid flavor combo, but NOT when I have put a cookie into my mouth thinking it was chocolate chip.

Anyone else caught up in the massive Verizon internet outage on the East Coast? It's making my work day SO MUCH FUN.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I like raisins fine in bread and cereal, but not in cookies. I guess the chewiness doesn't work for me in the cookie format.

Our wings are not tired.

I heard about the massive East Coast outage, but apparently we are not included here. No fun for those included.

Poor puppo. Skinner has the donut collar and it works pretty well, except his nose is so long that he is still able to lick/chew places he shouldn't. I just give him Benadryl when I want to calm him down.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have chocolate chip cookies for later. It was very easy to tell which was which so I knew I was starting with the oatmeal raisin.

Oh no on the internet outage!

Poor pupper

I started college at 17 and waiting would probably have been better for me but another year at home would not have been, so, yeah, dunno.
