Good luck, Laura!
I did manage to get up and eat last night - bless frozen yakisoba noodle meals. I couldn’t find anything to watch that didn’t poke a tender spot, but then I found Song of the Thin Man and started that. Old movies I’ve never seen may be a go to for now.
The Thin Man series is a good choice. Love me some Asta.
I was surprised and saddened to hear about Braugher. 61 is pretty young. (She says from the far too close age of 57.)
This sounds amazing: CAR-T therapy forces autoimmune diseases into remission.
Yeah, that's pretty incredible!
I'll try and get the big guy to his PCP today. Wish me luck.
Good luck, Laura! I hope everything is just fine with Brendon's leg and it turns out to be just lingering soreness that's lingering too long.
This thing where good people die and bad people flourish is getting pretty fucking old. Besides Andre Braugher, a fandom friend's husband is dying at 42, two months after a cancer diagnosis.
Can't just leave without claiming another victim.
(Ironically, maybe the perfect talent for expressing this moment.)
Completely shallow whining: The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland is closing on Jan. 22 for major renovations, and probably won't be open until 2025. I had the vague start of plans to go to Disneyland next spring, but since the Mansion is a very large part of why I'd go, that probably won't happen.
I MISS MY SPIRITUAL HOME, DAMMIT.
