Thanks, everyone. It sucks so hard. I am resourcing myself - getting a key from a neighbor in case they show up here (I’m not worried about physical danger, just emotional manipulation). Meeting a friend at 2 pm. Plans for Thanksgiving. Making a plan to get my stuff and my cat back this weekend with friends (one of whom is a very, very large Cajun).

I got up, made coffee, finished off my frittata and began to clean the kitchen.
I've started Thanksgiving with my first dish, and I always do this one first because (a) a monkey could do it; (b) it smells so good; and (c) I want it to set up in the fridge: [link]
Emmett will be over at 1:30 and he and Matilda have a Zoom call scheduled at 2:30 with Chris and Angela (Uncle and Aunt) in Portland for a joint Spanikopita to keep JZ's dish on both our tables.
