Who knew that you could bleach pumpkin flesh white and jelly-like?
Considering I discovered bleach could eat through my cabinet floor….not surprised.

Guilty plea #3!!
Who knew that hearing about lawyers taking plea deals would be such a good time? Not me
Thanks for highlighting the privilege ramifications, Vortex.
I woke up with Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" stuck in my head, and it will not budge.
Thanks for sharing. That sounds sarcastic, but I mean it sincerely.
It has now been replaced by Whitesnake. I can’t explain it and I don’t make the rules; I just go with it.
I don't think I will follow you there, Tep. Then again, I have no control of the music playing in my head so who knows?
Today we get to celebrate the birthday of Kate P!
::French horn fanfare::
There was a time in our lives at the old apartment where Kate and SA would stay with us almost annually as they came and went on their various "I'm in my early 20s and I'm traveling" days.
I remember Kate on her way back from India, and SA ripping about a hundred of my CDs to her laptop.
I'm grateful to have had them in our lives for so long that I got to watch them both come into their adulthood.
The last time I saw Kate was when she visited with her husband, and I talked with him about doing a blurb for his book on The Kinks while we breakfasted at Zazie.
The last time I saw SA she made a trip down from Portland to reconnect, and I took her to the Ice Cream Bar.
Actually, in the Georgia case, I believe it's guilty plea #4 - the first was the bail bondsman. But it's now #3 for the lawyers (mine is an evil laugh)
David, might some Benadryl OINTMENT give you some relief? I've found it works well for mosquito and other bug bites as well as any allergy-related irritation (I'm suggesting the ointment on the theory it won't interact as badly with anything else)
Things that are apparently really helpful during a war, when your government is a fading simulacra of what a government should be: a zoom meeting of reading yoga scripts and their interpretations. Not even kidding, something in me really needed that.
Also, happy birthday, Kate!
Maybe a different simulation, but I feel like I know how that feels, shir. Happy birthday, Kate. Still sick of my life, but it feels a little better that my stomach doesn't hurt.
