Take a lesson from me. Don't slice the tip of your thumb to the point of needing five stitches while making dinner.
Dammit! There goes my evening plans.

Yikes! And thumbs are so awkward to work around when they are injured. I'm sorry, Noise.
Ahhh, so sorry, ND! I felt that viscerally when reading. Yikes.

What's the point if there's not arterial spurting?

Hell if I know.
(I wrote here a long post and then accidentally closed the wrong windows and boooo that. I'm OK, I'm tired, I'm livid at my government, and here's a video of a pup reuniting with her person, both survivors: [link] )
Edit: OK, ate something and can post more. Today I'm tired because I spent half day doing things my government should have done shopping and packing emergency supplies for Arab and Palestinian communities in the south - some were directly effected by the attack. Anything from diapers and baby food to pads and dry food. I'm very grateful that work pretty much let us not work most of week and understood that we're in shock and grief.
(550 bodies were not identified yet, but so far today I didn't hear about anyone else that I knew and was killed. I'm not checking the lists with the names. I can't).

Been there, have the dead nerves and scarring to show for it. Do not recommend. Hope it heals quickly.
Thank you for the video Shir, I needed that cry. I can only imagine how much you are doing just to keep it together.
By now I figured out that the new routine to function is to wake up up every morning, reach for my phone, read some updates and cry a bit, and then start the day. Because every morning I wake up and for a moment everything feels almost normal. And then I remember.
