How are you doing this morning, smonster?

I coordinated shelter prep this morning with some neighbors and have a go bag. I also closed the storm shutters in case of blast waves from nearby hits. I'm trying not to check the news too often, or think of those I know in the south. It is horrific there and I'm very deliberately not watching any videos.

I'm now trying to see when I can go and donate blood (the centers are swamped right now so this might only be tomorrow or on Monday), and what can I do to help the civil groups who will be out tonight to protect people in East Jerusalem and mixed neighborhoods from those who think that all non Jews are a threat.

I'm also betting on whether or not I have the time to take a shower. I'm three and a half floors from the shelter and have 90 seconds to get there.

And I'm tired, physically and metaphorically.

I'm so sorry, Shir. I cannot adequately imagine what this is like for you, and the constant vigilance for threat to safety of yourself and others has to be exhausting on every level physically mentally, and emotionally. I'm so sorry.
