Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Our wings are not tired.

usually 2 walks a day that are each 20-25 minutes.

That's great! What an ordeal. That was some serious surgery.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

In case you didn't know, there's going to be an emergency alert done tomorrow, so every device will go off at once. Brace yourselves.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have a FB Memory from 5 years ago today about an emergency alert. I had not heard about the one tomorrow, so thanks for that, Todd.

Good luck getting the meds, t!

Thank, meara! By the time I got to the pharmacy they were ready, so I am back on my regimen with a full bottle. And I found out that the Covid boosters are available at the drive through flu shot thingy, although I figured that out after they had closed for the day but maybe I can take care of that on Friday.

It always strikes me as weird when there are obstacles to paying your bill. You would think that would be the one thing that would be made so easy you could almost do it accidentally.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hugs and love to everyone.

Trying to get yourself and your kid ready for the day when you’re both overstimulated and anxious by the workers who are tearing the roof off your house is not fun. I finally got ltc to school and got myself a chai latte and egg bites and now I’m hiding at the library until the workers leave.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks on the heads up, Todd. We had so many alerts the last couple days for the abduction of the child upstate that everyone is still on edge.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Soup. I have much soup. Not only has the Madwoman in the Attic (the old friend who is our housemate) made me soup, but friends dropped off a care package of homemade minestrone and lots of bread.

In even better news, Mr. Loomycakes comes home today!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Tim is Ironman! I'm glad the surgery and the walking are working at making his life so much better.

Hugs and hellos and condolences, Karl.

Cheers for all the good and condolences for all the not-very-good from me to everyone. Clarity and comprehension for the various epiphanies, and also,

(waves, hi, hugs, ~ma, health, love, sparkles, alibis, bitter revanges if you need one)

I want one of everything on Shir's list.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I went to get my teeth cleaned earlier, and it turns out that I need a tooth pulled. Yikes! It's a molar that I had a root canal performed on quite a while ago (10 years? 15 years?), by a dental practice I'm no longer with because they were shitty. Back in 2017 or 2018, the same tooth was giving me some grief, and I saw an endodontist who was able to do some kind of tooth magic and fix it. But they x-rayed it today, and it's at the point where it needs to come out. The freaky part is that it has an infection, and I wasn't aware of it -- there's no pain or tenderness. That's weird as hell. So next week it gets yanked, and after about 6 months I'll get an implant.
