It's been some concentrated bad for you, for sure, Hec.
I decided to go across the bridge to pick up lunch today, a little more of an adventure than my workday normally holds. Well, first my flu shot, which was super easy and actually painless although I expect to be sore and possibly achy tomorrow. But the views on the driver over were beautiful, the sandwich place easy to find, the drive back very pleasant and scenic and while it does irritate me to notice how much tolls cost these days I have a FasTrak so I don't have to scrounge up the cash to get back across the bridge. And now I have two sandwiches and two salads to sample. Stargting with the pear and gorgonzola grilled cheese (lovely) and what they call a Nola Sandwich on deck (it'[s essentially a muffuletta and is the reason the place got on my radar - I assume they don't call it a muffuletta so they don't have to argue with people whether it really is or not. One of the Yelp reviews was from a customer who tried to order it without the olives and was convinced by the owner or whoever that they should get the olives on the side at least because the olives make the sandwich, so that sealed the deal for me, a must to try. I have thought of it ever since I read that as a Kerfuffle Sandwich and just hope it tastes good (Eta: and it does!)
