Always Anti-fascist!

My mother is on her way to the rheumatologist to find out what's up with her ankle pain and arthritis. We now have two neighbors helping: One at night and one in the morning.(The one who did the most, M, has another job selling tires, too. )

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for Sweeny Todd. Boo for arthritis.

That's all I got for now.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Pretty much what Laura said.

Last night the term “white-knuckling” came into my head. That’s what it feels like, that I (and many, many folks I know) are just white-knuckling it through life right now. Hanging on for dear life and hoping against hope that things will ease up, slow down, maybe even get a little better.

In absolutely not-at-all related news, my car needs all three O2 sensors replaced. It’s fine, I have the money, I’d just like to hold on to some of it.

I'm glad you have helpful neighbors, erikaj. And diagnosis~ma for your mom.

Sweeny Todd sounds like it could be cathartic.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Third time was not the charm for making spinach lasagna at home, more like a Voodoo curse. The same cooking time as before resulted in cheesy tomato Florentine pudding riddled with tough, chewy sheets of half cooked pasta. And it tasted like something had really gone off, not sure if it was the egg I used or the mozzarella cheese (the spinach, ricotta, parmesan, and pasta sauce were bought Tuesday so I'm reasonably sure none of them were the culprits).

On the bright side, I didn't feel like eating anything else after a couple of forkfulls last night, so dinner consisted of that and a side salad. Ruined entrees, the key to dieting!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Cheesy tomato florentine pudding sounds pretty good, although half-cooked pasta not so much

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

At the doctor post procedure.

Waiting to get the lab on the first excision to make sure they got it all.

Hopefully that’s good and I can go home.

Otherwise they have to go in and do more.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Boo. They want to get a little bit more.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope they have released you, David. Take it easy when you get home. I know your list is long, but your immunity is low and you can easily do too much.
