I watched Over the Garden Wall last fall, because a coworker (with similar tastes) told me I had to see it. Now I’m haunting EBay, trying to nab a dvd for under $100. Such a good miniseries!
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It's good to hear that Matilda was surrounded by love and laughter for her birthday. It can help her know that she can get through this in baby steps.
Apparently over the garden wall is streaming on Hulu.
Also GBBO is back on Netflix starting Friday!!
I remember hearing that people like Over the Garden Wall but I have yet to seek it out. And that's pretty much all I know about it - people like it.
The half a day of sick time I took last week was as a Sr Business Analyst and the holiday I took Monday is showing my job as Demand Planner and my time card looks seriously weird. But I guess that's how it's supposed to look. Our VP thanked me for being cooperative with the change and it became apparent in our department meeting yesterday that in general the title stream lining is not going smoothly. But it's not my problem! I'm all set.
Also, I checked my vaccination status with Kaiser and they don't recommend I get another booster until 2034! Flu shot tomorrow, I guess that's what brought it to mind.
I'm having leftover pizza and leftover cherry pie for breakfast, ignoring the post-birthday disaster in the kitchen and enjoying having the house to myself for a minute.
Leftover pizza and pie sounds wonderful, as does having a moment.
Things remain noisy here with construction. But I can maybe see it coming together. Fall temps make for very chilly evenings, but highs have been in the 60s and 70s so I can't complain.
A1 breakfasting, well done Hec!
I should have lunch. all I have lying around handy are protein shakes so at least decision-making won't be too stressful
I have had meetings all fucking day and all fucking week, and the next two days are no better, but I'm going to see Sweeney Todd tonight. People who displease me better hope they don't get made into pies.
My mother is on her way to the rheumatologist to find out what's up with her ankle pain and arthritis. We now have two neighbors helping: One at night and one in the morning.(The one who did the most, M, has another job selling tires, too. )
