FTR, counselors had told me that might happen, both that he might offer things, and that they wouldn't be what I needed anymore. Kind of like how it didn't work when they tried to get me to crawl, late. Apparently the window for finding crawling fascinating is a small one indeed And I never did learn to cover much ground that way, despite trying two nights a week for two grade school years. You should know your budget PT is kind of out of ideas when she comes up with "Hey, it works for babies,"

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Oh, wow, thanks for the session, Dr. Spielvogel. But I don't think anyone outside of my family even knows about that. It was like homework or chores... that thing that could wreck our night if we fought about it. which we did, cause we could all tell it wasn't working. And I don't think babies think there's another thing they're "supposed to" be doing while they do that. I don't think they're all "Where's the part where I pull myself to my feet and all that?" which is part of how a "re-enactment' didn't work.
On top of all that I cannot leave the house because DHL didn't leave the lovely fabric I ordered from Liberty of London on Friday though I waived the signature, and now I don't want it to land in Not Received limbo bullshit.
DHL sucks that way. I spent ages (back before I worked from home) trying to get them to just leave a dress I'd ordered on my covered porch, and the only reason I got it at all was because my upstairs neighbor saw the truck parking for the fourth delivery attempt and hightailed it downstairs to sign for it for me.
Hey, maybe you could get your MiL to handle that. If you have to put up with her, at least you should get some value out of the experience.
that'll teach her.

She has significant hearing issues, so even if she were up in my apartment she wouldn't hear the door knock.
But Emmett is here now so I can run to Kinkos and print a few documents and then go to the PO and mail a few documents.
And I have sorted out my online account for financial services finally, and what day of the week they do Coed session at the Hot Springs for Sibling Spa Day.
Aw, life needs to let up on you. Sorry it hasn't. {{Hecubus}}}
Did a lot of shit today, some of it not finished.
Went to Kinko's and printed out two forms.
Mailed financial document and death certificate.
Emailed with Pastor on change to service for JZ.
Tried to confirm Matilda's prescription. I could not beat the phone tree.
Researched catering for the funeral.
Called Kabuki Hot Springs re: Sibling Spa Day. Only Co-Ed day is Tuesday, so that changes their plans somewhat.
Rescheduled my medical appointment from Oct 11th until after the funeral on Oct. 20th.
Received three deliveries but nothing from DHL.
Set up online access to our finances.
Confirmed morning Zoom call tomorrow to discuss next-steps regarding all the places I need to send the death certificates.
Welp. 1 hour and 45 minute meeting about our boss just after work today. 2 retirees and an employee who transferred to another department joined 9 current employees. 3 others sent in written statements. That’s almost 25% of our department.
Not sure what will happen, but I feel confident something will happen.
msbelle I hope something good for you happens with your boss.
Hec, I'm so sorry you have to deal with your MIL and all of this.
My aunt's memorial service is in a few weeks I've been telling Mom I want to be there to support her and she's been kind of saying reasons why I shouldn't go (travel time, new job, etc) and I finally heard some things she wasn't actually saying -that the best way to be supportive of her is to not go. Not because she wants to keep me from it but she just wants it all over and she doesn't need support doing this. And I was really going just for Mom so now I'm not.
Also I discovered that Belk never terminated my employment even though I signed all the paperwork I needed. I had emailed the lawyer a couple of weeks ago saying I didn't think they had but she assured me I had done everything I needed to. But I called HR to find out why I hadn't gotten any paper work about COBRA. ...because I'm still employed by them. And the corporate HR told me to call the store. So I need to do that tomorrow. I'm a little worried there will be issues of some kind but I did everything I was supposed to.

I hope that means you're still getting paychecks! Oh, probably not because not clocking in, but...
