Another important work update: I need to get more candy to put out. If I remember right I've only had to reup maybe 4 times in the last year (buying an large assorted bag at Costco, usually, or similar amounts from a drugstore or whatever) - I know the last time was what I think of as Ordinary Time when there weren't any themed assortments going, before that was Easter, before that was Valentine's Day and I think before that was only Halloween. And now there's Halloween candy available again, so that's not bad.
Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

It is pretty early, but I never have actual trick or treaters, this would just be for desk at work and it doesn't seem to be a problem that it ages a while in a drawer. And I prefer having bats or pumpkins or whatever if I can

Just had a lovely dinner with my friends from a law firm we all worked together in in the '90s - we do dinner for each other's birthdays. So fun. And now heading to a Ben Folds concert -- DH is a huge fan. Should be fun. Nice evening. One of those you want to remember.
And then going home to the sweet new addition to the family, Birdie. Nice.
