Ugh. Doing the funeral planning is stressing me a little bit.
My MiL is coming down for Matilda and Emmett's birthdays (and a trade show) so she'll be here all next week.
And then it looks like the Funeral itself will be on October 16th, which is a Monday. And it can't be before then because the Pastor is going to be in Germany with her ailing mother.
And I'm meeting with the Pastor and scheduler tomorrow to see about the time. Which is complicated if we want a reception afterwards because they have nightly AA meetings of various flavors.
I haven’t been able to get to a place with nachos. So I bought nacho cheese while I was picking up my medication for my colonoscopy. Tomorrow I have to fast. So today I’m having chips and cheese.
Can you do the reception elsewhere?
Can you do the reception elsewhere?
I could but I absolutely don't want to because that would be extended time with extended cousin side of the family and I'm going to be gritting my teeth the whole time and itching to get the fuck out of there.
Oh, my God...for $27 at Filibertos, I bet I could poison myself.
That is so many delicious taquitos.
Even in San Diego, the Filiberto's weren't as good as the ones in Phoenix.
The synagogue I belonged to before it moved out of Fairfield met in a church that also had AA meetings and so forth in the same room. Did make for interesting calendaring.
I might be able to come on the 16th, David. I took the day off for jaunting off to see the annular eclipse, but I might be back by then

It would be so lovely to see you, and any other localistas.
Aw, Hec, I am the worst planner God ever made, but if I were closer, I'd try to help.
