knit boxers
I "discovered' these recently, and I LOVE and LIVE in them. I am wearing a pair under a knee length chambray shirt dress right now. Though, I wore regular undies when I was out and about today.
They're so versatile and comfortable! It was a revelation. My husband was amused. I mean, I had been wearing the woven boxers, but jersey knit? Yes, please!
Hivemind - have any of you heard of a 2:1 meeting referring to a second 1:1 for an employee? or a 1:1 with an employee's boss's boss?
I haven't run across those terms. 1:1s with boss's boss are skip levels in my world.
I'm in a chair in the sky, descending upon ATL.
Wishing I could meet Ginger at Waffle House.
Seems like my nephew (who lives in FL) might be staying at another hotel by the ATL airport. In which case...I'd get to see him. Which was not on the agenda and totally random. Or maybe not because he might be driving up to see his mom too, which makes sense.
I'm afraid that all this cancer related travel has taken the glamour out of air travel for me.
Good luck, Hec.
I wish it wasn't such a wheelchair bender, myself.
May the visit be comforting to all, David.

No, we just call them a 1:1 with whoever. 2:1 sounds like you are meeting with them both at once which I guess could happen, IDK
Hope it's a good visit, Hec

No. That is like they are applying second cousin once removed logic. And I work in academia and we be crazy. I have heard of skip level. I would think a 2:1 is two bosses one report, which is my situation but to much a reminder of two girls one cup, and what is the internet.
I hope you visit with your sister goes Ok, Hec I won’t say well.
Urk. 4 hour flight and there’s a massive line for my rental car. And all the other places have no lines at all.
This is going to take an hour.
Fucking hell.
Sorry, Hec. That is totally unnecessary additional stress
I came in early so I could do a little non-meeting stuff first thing and now I'm leaving from catching up on the urgent things that came up while I was in meetings and while I am pleased that my job is more interesting these days (in the sense that I am interested in what I do, not that it's wildly unpredictable but I'm trying to be polite about it) I do not love that it is actually more work than it was when I was more bored. I assume i will get used to it eventually but right now I am pretty drained all the time.

That’s a skip level.
Hope the wait isn’t as long as it looks like it will be, David
