Our wings are not tired.

Congrats to Debet and family! Yes, 8-2-1 are clearly his lucky numbers.

I want to be present here again.

I do hope so. So lovely to see old friends again.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Welcome Arthur. You are a gift.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ah, got it, Amy. I thought for a moment that you had a more personal story to tell.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Jacqueline is in her bed. On morphine. She is surrounded by a circle of her closest women friends and Matilda. And they are all talking and getting drunk. Except Matilda.

Jacqueline had said she wanted to hear voices. So now she is surrounded by them. Her favorite saucy people.

My job: to keep making them cocktails.

Aaaww that sounds great. I felt so bad for my moms friends that she didn’t want anyone around, her last couple weeks. Basically no visitors (didn’t eben want to see my dad) like an animal in a den. Her sister and BFF called but she really didn’t want to talk much. I’m glad JZ is getting to have what she wants around her.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

My best memory of when my mom was dying was just sitting around her bed with my dad and my brother, the three of us talking and laughing and telling stories we'd all heard and told and retold dozens of times. She couldn't participate by then but I know that was absolutely one of her most favorite things, to be surrounded by her beloved family, just reminiscing and enjoying each other's company.

So much about that time was so hard and awful, but that is a genuinely good memory I will always carry with me.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Even though my mom was unconscious at the end, I like to think that being surrounded by family and friends and all of us telling stories and laughing and crying was comforting to her. I know it was comforting to me.

I hope Jacqueline can feel the joy of their memories and love washing over her.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Welcome to the world, Arthur! You don't know it yet, but you are fortunate to live for even a brief overlap of time in a world containing JZ.

That sounds like such a loving atmosphere for her, Hec.
