Aaaww that sounds great. I felt so bad for my moms friends that she didn’t want anyone around, her last couple weeks. Basically no visitors (didn’t eben want to see my dad) like an animal in a den. Her sister and BFF called but she really didn’t want to talk much. I’m glad JZ is getting to have what she wants around her.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

My best memory of when my mom was dying was just sitting around her bed with my dad and my brother, the three of us talking and laughing and telling stories we'd all heard and told and retold dozens of times. She couldn't participate by then but I know that was absolutely one of her most favorite things, to be surrounded by her beloved family, just reminiscing and enjoying each other's company.
So much about that time was so hard and awful, but that is a genuinely good memory I will always carry with me.
Even though my mom was unconscious at the end, I like to think that being surrounded by family and friends and all of us telling stories and laughing and crying was comforting to her. I know it was comforting to me.
I hope Jacqueline can feel the joy of their memories and love washing over her.
Welcome to the world, Arthur! You don't know it yet, but you are fortunate to live for even a brief overlap of time in a world containing JZ.
That sounds like such a loving atmosphere for her, Hec.
Welcome, Arthur! Congratulations, Debet and family. I wish health, sufficient sleep (as much as possible), and naches to all of you.
David, Matilda, JZ - continued love~ma. You are all in my thoughts.
Welcome, Arthur Robert! (Much stronger name than Rupert)
In completely other news, it continues to be a joy to see Stitch and ltc play together. They love each other fiercely.
This is what makes the whole mortal coil thing worth it.
Welcome to the world, Arthur! You don't know it yet, but you are fortunate to live for even a brief overlap of time in a world containing JZ.
I love this sentiment. The confluence, and expansion, of love.
Congratulations, Debet, on making a fine human.
My great uncle, Arthur Crane, was a singularly interesting person. May your wee Arthur have a life of adventure and humor!
(Art was a Pinkerton Man on the Southern Pacific Railroad, so I hasten to add a wish that little Arthur's life be full of dazzling trains...but with zero union busting.)
It feels like exactly the wrong time, but also kind of exactly the right time...
How can you be so poignant so shortly after you've given birth?
Welcome to the world, Artur Robert! Congratulation, Debet! And all your family. So many wishes of health and joy are coming your way.
