Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

'Safe'

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"I don't know your new address...."

Also, resonant:

"I want to do little projects with you. I never thought until just now that we can do that. What should we do. We started to learn to make clothes together — or learn Chinese — or getting a movie projector. Can’t I do something now? No. I am alone without you and you were the “idea-woman” and general instigator of all our wild adventures."

Our wings are not tired

JZ, I will echo, you are the best of us.

Also Richard Feynman is a touchstone for me and I have always loved the letter that he wrote to his wife after her death. It has been a long time since I've re-read it.

Because books.

The Amiable Alliance concurs.

Hail, fellow Amy. Concur with your concurrence.

The lurkiest representative of the Amiable Alliance concurs as well. It's heart-food to be able to share this with JZ, who is, in fact, the best.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I hope a timeline brings a little comfort. And I’m deeply glad you’re able to be at home surrounded by love, in the home that so much love and joy went into creating, even if for far too brief a time.

I remember similar times with my mom, and it was painful and difficult, and yet filled with laughter and love, and I wouldn’t give up a moment of it. And I’m grateful that you and David are choosing to share with us, as we in this community have shared so many joys and heartbreaks over the years. I truly don’t know who I would be without this funny, thoughtful, challenging, supportive, provocative, and most of all loving community.

We seriously are the best, and JZ embodies the best of us.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

JZ, I hope every single day we are lucky enough to still have your presence also brings you a sense of pleasure.

Indeed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I finally got JZ hooked up on my laptop with her logged into her own gmail account, B.org and FB.

Her typing is shaky now but she might have me type up a note or two for her.

But she can read and scroll now.

Side note: She's mentioned before doing a big Zoom call as we did for Amyth. Is that something we could set up?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I’m absolutely up for a zoom call.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I think Nanita set that up?

Compassionately intolerant

I have an unlimited Zoom account and would be glad to host.
