Hi JZ!
I am leaving Sydney and flying to Auckland today, then flying home Wednesday. I can’t believe this trip is almost over! I don’t want to go back to real life (though I do want to see my dog)

JZ, I have a wicked laugh at the thought thought of Oliver reading your OFMD fic.
I have a good friend here, Mother Jane, who is an Episcopal priest and she has been sharing her library with me as I study a little more about the bible and she has been an absolute godsend. (See what I dis there?) She always has time for my Atheist ass.
We are heading to Burning Man in two weeks because it’s the husband’s bucket list item to cross off. I believe the planning is more important than the experience for him.
Hi, JZ! I’m so glad you found a faith home in the Lutheran church. I’ve been thinking that if I can’t find a UU congregation that clicks I’ll look into the ELCA. My grandmother was a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran church, which is a very different thing. I like to think she’d be confused, but happy, if I switched.
COVID is knocking me a bit flat, but it’s doable. I’ll probably miss work tomorrow, and maybe Tuesday. I have multiple new books that I can’t quite focus on, but they’ll keep. Right now I’m watching a show on Nordic wildlife. Lots of snow.
Calli, don’t push yourself too fast.
Waves to JZ! Always wonderful to see your font. I have Pastor Bea's service open in one tab and A03 in another, so thanks all for the links.
I can’t believe this trip is almost over!
But such a trip! I have enjoyed seeing your updates.
We’re eating yummy leftovers from yesterdays party and watching Project Runway. We usually only eat in front of the tv on Fridays but I told ltc this is one last birthday treat.
Sorry to hear it, Calli -- definitely get as much rest as you can!
JZ!!!!! Love to you.
I read one of the OFMD fics! As anticipated, it was heartfelt and lovely and complicated.
I am sad that, although here and there I watch new shows(Praise Petey for instance, is funny and weird) there isn't anything that makes me want to hide out with it in a fannish way.

The last one she wrote (about Lucius and his sister) is very Austen-ian if that appeals to any.
I haven't scheduled visits past Wednesday. Just going to have to see how much energy she has.
The house is emptying out after a very busy weekend. It's been lovely seeing people but it's also nice to have some quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
