Matt, that is great news, thanks for sharing.
Ah, Matilda, freaking key duties there, kudos to you for taking that on.
This is good, to avoid self-roofieing.
Key duties!

I just asked Tim "With all that oxy in your system, what's your pain level?" He said "Negative 3. It feels like my spine was dipped in honey." Which admittedly sounds awesome.
NGL, I want that.
Hec, I'm so glad in a bittersweet way for the support network you and JZ have, and that there are some fucking superstars helping you out. Please remember to take time for yourself to breathe and stare blankly at a wall.
PSA to everyone who are parents: as your kids become adults with their own lives, if you've got something serious going on, TELL THEM. OMG, tell them. Don't let "Oh, things are fine" be your default response to them asking how you are if things aren't fine.
(Dad, if you are lurking around here, this is 100% aimed at you.)
Teppy, are you hooked up with home health PT/OT? I expect in-patient might be hard to make happen (and likely not necessary), but, as noted above, even a couple/few sessions working on Your Actual Bed can make a big difference.
-ma to everyone. I am at work, taking a catch my breath break, so no meara from me.
The catch my breath break is necessary as we anticipate the arrival of kiddo 2 in the next 2 weeks. The coverage for my mat leave starts Monday, and I'll start scaling back then, which I am 300 perecent ready for.
I'm glad helping Tim will be doable, once the opium clears.
Yay, Matt's mom!
Matilda has taken to Drug Scribe duties as well as Chief Engineer on the Gunko machine.
When my parents had cancer, finding something to do that was helpful mattered so much. I'm glad Matilda has found her thing(s).
So much health ma to everyone.
Smonster so happy for you! Lovely to read the excitement in your post.
Offsite training day is done. I was snippy with people this morning getting things set up. They were doing things not as planned and I LIKE A PLAN AND TO BE IN CHARGE AND IHSVE A SHORT FUSE. So yeah, I’ll apologize on Monday and aim to be better. But now I sit and knit.
It’s so funny to imagine you snippy because I’ve never seen that side of you! Maybe it’s because whenever we spend time together, you’re in vacation mode? I always think of you as THE NICEST.
Sometimes ya just gotta be snippy.
I *look* chill. But it's not really true.
Morbid, I know, but have those of us who have any sort of fannish content up at AO3 actually set up our Fannish Next of Kin options? [link]
(I am someone else's. I have not set up mine. I should do that.)
