Such wise and loving words.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Such beautiful words. I know that I wish my father had left something like that behind for me. My heart breaks for Matilda so much.
Since I haven't been on the board for so long, I was poking around in some TV threads and found JZ's Our Flag Means Death-related burbling yet insightful analysis of the characters and it's just so Jacqueline, having the squees and also talking about the why of the squee. Everything she writes is a pure delight to read. Always.
Beautiful and wise.
I am here for JZ’s words of hard won wisdom. I love you all. This is so damn hard. Again.

It made her write fanfiction again which was such a joy to her after so many years of not writing.
That and her return to RenFaire this last fall were two huge reclamations of her creative self.
JZ always seemed so happy to do RenFaire. I think I’m going to finally take ltc to King Richard’s Faire this year in honor of JZ.
JZ, David, all - all my love. I am so sorry, and I love you all.
I wish this was a better world for so many of us. But having you people in it makes it abundantly better.
I have no other words right now.
Best Wishes, JZ and David
My daughter and her husband visited us the weekend before last and it was really nice to see them. Not sure when my other daughter and her girlfriend are going to get married, still in the early planning stages. A high school friend of mine died (stupid fucking cancer) over this last weekend which it taking some getting used to.
In less important news, we recently acquired a Subaru Outback (I had a Ford Maverick on order, but finally gave up on it. Besides, the Outback is a better dog transporter) and just did the first oil change this weekend. It is amazingly easy on the Outback, I didn't have to jack it up to drain the oil and oil filter is on the top of the engine so it's just right there when you pop the hood. I think it is actually less hassle to do it myself than to go to a lube place.
JZ is surrounded by the love of multitudes and throngs of friends, and that will not change.
