I am v relieved that I did not buy a new emergency plane ticket last night (I figured it would be just as expensive today, since yesterday was already less than a week away) and then this morning the strike was over! So hopefully all should be well by the time I fly Tuesday!
Anonymous Sudan is the group that took responsibility for the DDOS on AO3, though the speculation is that it's probably Russia behind the group.

Timelies all!
Today is Mr. S's birthday. He turns 8. He'll be home for 2 nights starting tomorrow. We tried to ask him what he'd like to do on Saturday when we talked to him on Zoom today, but he wasn't very helpful. (His birthday party was going to be Saturday, but none of the kids we invited were available. So now the party is first weekend in August.)

Also happy making - I just read a FB post from a guy I knew in college talking about how he’s been getting his girlfriend (wife? I forget their actual relationship. I don’t really talk to him I just see his posts sometimes) to watch Buffy and they are up to OMWF. I’m not going to explain to him why I in particular am so pleased, but I’ll tell y’all that I am :)
