I am ON VACATION.
The dog got very unhappy when I ran around the house packing for camp. She would be even more unhappy if she knew she was going to a kennel for 4 days! She has never been. I hope she doesn't get too upset about it all.
My last two trips I used Rover.com to find dog sitters/boarders. Both times it was in homes with just one other dog and freedom to get on furniture and be spoiled. The first was a stay-at-home mom with a disabled child and a nice big backyard and the second was a work-at-home dude who jogged multiple times a day with Skinner. I was really pleased with the results.

And YAY VACATION!!
I brought ltc into the library bookstore I worked in and told her she could fill a shopping bag with whatever she wanted. Everything there is either $1 or 50 cents. She managed to fit $22 worth of books into her bag.

Ahhh of course the airline I’m flying next week is on strike. Grrrrrr. I really hope they work it out and my flights are not canceled or delayed!!

I'm so sorry, msbelle. It's so hard to navigate what is practical and doable and right while carrying around these huge emotions, on top of the difficulty of just having the (valid, by the way) huge emotions to deal with!

Resurfacing after a miserable couple of days. I had a normal breakfast for the first time since Saturday, and though right now I feel bloated and like lunch is an impossibility, who knows how I'll be when we actually get there?
A pair of cousins (I think second?) are coming to visit around 11, and in the meantime I have a Tiffany Aching book to read, so I'll just sit and do that and hope the bloat fades away.
