I got my second shingles vaccination shot yesterday, and I think the only side effects for me are a slight, slight soreness at injection site, super mild headache later in the day today (I am lucky not to get them anymore... ever since womb and ovaries came out), and perhaps the four hour nap I took, which is unusual, though that's about how long I was unaccountably awake last night. Anyway, all shingles-protected up.
My Junk Room is now officially a messy office as the desk is out of the closet with monitor, etc. set up. Very exciting. And I had pancakes for dinner.
my bil got his second covid shot and it kinda through him for a loop, where the first one did not - some there is anecdata of 1.
My aunt J and my grandma both got their 1 vaccine shot. My dad has an appointment (can't remember when) to get his. They are in FL so right now something is going right in FL.

Medicine has made a huge difference for me. If it weren't for the pandemic and associated things with that I think I would be trying to work with my therapist to build up some better skills in how to manage things .. the medicine only goes so far and I have a lot of bad habits. Sometimes I struggle because I'm so used to things being a struggle.

Second night in a row of being pulled into emergency meetings. I just cancelled the vacation day I'd scheduled on Friday, because I don't think that will be happening this week.
