Except hopefully there's not some eejit teasing you about how "they have to watch out for me," or "Ha, ha, Erika doesn't trust us," on your end. And, no, I didn't. They could(and can still, depending) fuck up a wet dream, except when I got it the most, I was too shy to say stuff like that. And that first thing should at least be said while Farmer In The Dell plays in the background, or I've wasted my life!

Yeah, that is sad. I haven't seen any detail, but with debris found on the ocean floor it sounds like it was a catastrophic event rather than a slowly running out of air situation. Which, sounds better to me. Still, what a mess.

DH is just having so much fun in the city, and I am so delighted. He has been in a completely stressed-out state for way too long and needs to let go and relax. (big time, like his sisters and I have been worried he was going to stroke out) His biggest delights so far have been getting 'real' Japanese food and rice cakes like he enjoyed when he lived in Japan as a kid, and meeting the fashion designer who made the outfits for the boys being drafted tonight. Not that it takes much to make these guys look good! I still think of them as kids, but they are grown up 20 year olds now.

All I could really think about the sub story is "How jaded are you?" that, you know, a villa in Tuscany would be, like, The Same Old Thing. Even knowing I'm a geek of a certain age who still gets her mind blown sometimes not to wait for Sunday to call long-distance.

I literally couldn't do my job if this wasn't true. Still, an obvious sign that the " be snarky about the sub thing and people won't care when it happens to you," people are misdirecting their passions..

Gary and I are heading to Florida tomorrow to see my folks.(Which is the only reason I'd go there.) It's their 60th anniversary tomorrow. They're sponsoring the kiddush after services on Saturday, and taking a bunch of folks out to dinner on Saturday night.

Thanks! I mean, everything has gone according to schedule [knock wood] so far, but only after I dealt with it and pushed back. Which is what I had to do the last trip too so it's just a stressor I don't want on these trips.
