Gary and I are heading to Florida tomorrow to see my folks.(Which is the only reason I'd go there.) It's their 60th anniversary tomorrow. They're sponsoring the kiddush after services on Saturday, and taking a bunch of folks out to dinner on Saturday night.

Thanks! I mean, everything has gone according to schedule [knock wood] so far, but only after I dealt with it and pushed back. Which is what I had to do the last trip too so it's just a stressor I don't want on these trips.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Y'all, the Supreme Court is killing me. They still haven't released their decision in the case about my job! Not that it will have any direct impact on my actual job, but it's going to be a pretty big deal overall. Fingers crossed it comes out next Tuesday and not later in the week.

AND the guessing around my office is that they are waiting to announce the new dean until after the SCOTUS ruling, but the old dean changes jobs as of July 1, so things are feeling a little unsettled.

I can see where it would be hard to plan for the near future right now, Jesse I forgot that was on the docket, or whatever the lingo is. I actually kinda forgot the supreme court was doing anything until I saw reactions to decisions recently.

Boo migraine but yay meds! I had one yesterday but although the meds worked to take away the pain I was off all day and took not one but two naps. Ridiculous.
