We picked up E at the airport and M couldn't go up to Mom's because he had to help his mom with a dr's appointment this morning. But E and I went up...(after stopping by the house to drop off M and snuggle with the cats) . This morning we had breakfast, hung out, had low key lunch, cake and ice cream and gifts. Then I came home and relaxing

My flight connection was 2.5 hours delayed (at least…we haven’t boarded yet!) I am going to be so tired when I get home after midnight after waking up at 5am east coast time!!!

…three and a half hours after it was supposed to take off we are still on the ground and waiting to go back to the gate. At this rate I fear our flight crew will time out and ill be spending the night in charlotte!

Ugh, not fair of the universe to keep piling on you at this time.
I took Mom out to lunch at a new local lounge that has an assortment of charcuterie boards (also salads, pizzas, and dips, but we opted for a shared board to snack on) and then stopped by my place where she got to pet Jackson for the first time. He didn't purr, but he seems to have lost most of his fear of her thanks to regular visits.
